Wuhan East Lake Hi-Tech Development Zone

Wuhan's East Lake Hi-Tech Development Zone, known as the Optical Valley of China (OVC), enjoys a high reputation in the industry. The only State Optoelectronic & Information Industry base is located in that particular zone. The earlier mentioned company is also the largest manufacturer of fibre in China and on world-ranking it has achieved 4th place.

The area is also the largest research and industrialization base of optoelectronic devices as well as the largest laser processing and application equipment base in China.
